Popeyes expands into Mexico
Popeyes announced that it had started its expansion into Mexico with the first of hundreds of outlets planned for the coming years.
Popeyes is partnering with JK Capital for the ambitious Mexico expansion, where the first restaurant opened earlier this year in Guadalajara.
The opening is the latest step in Popeyes international expansion plans to bring Louisiana chicken to the world. Presently, Popeyes has a branded presence in more than 3,400 locations worldwide.

While getting Popeyes chicken couriered to your door sounds fantastic, it is not universally available.
Delivery is only available in certain locations, but you will find out soon enough in the ordering process when you select how to get your order. You may have an unplanned jog down to your nearest Popeyes instead of shipping. Or you could outsource it to a third-party like Uber to go collect it for you depending on your level of laziness that day.
If all else fails, you can pick it up yourself, which is still preferable to waiting in line, especially during a global pandemic.
Popeyes is one of the world's largest fast chicken restaurant brands globally, with around $31 billion in sales internationally across more than a hundred countries and US territories. It was founded almost 50 years ago in New Orleans and today operates 27,000 restaurants worldwide across its various brands that include Burger King and Tim Hortons.

Opinion from both platforms is largely in line. Google Play users give the app a 4.4 out of five and iOS reviewers in the App Store a slightly more generous 4.6 out of five.
The reviews are generally positive, but many highlight annoying bug issues.
