The Wyze app is the mobile application that joins all the dots in the Wyze ecosystem.
Whether it’s checking your BMI or turning on the lights in your home, the Wyze app is the command center for all your Wyze products.
If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you’re probably right now wondering why you don’t think of that before.
No worries, you can still get onboard and boss everything Wyze-wise straight from your phone.
Despite being incredibly powerful, the Wyze app is a delight to use. It is simple, and you can use it straight out the gate if you already have a Wyze account set up.
One of the first items to visit is the Rules section. It’s in here that you can create pre-set actions, schedules, and shortcuts to get things done with one click or automatically.
The only limitations are the number of your Wyze devices and your imagination.
The latest version of the app was released. It fixed a couple of annoying bugs with the Wyze Robot Vacuum. Users can now drag the map and divide rooms.

Set up requires that you be on a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection. Next, tap the plus sign, then Add Device.
The Wyze mobile app needs Android 5.0 or later. Apple fans need iOS 9.0 or later. macOS requires 12.0 or later and an M1 chip Mac.
It’s incompatible with Kindle Fire tablets or with Windows phones and tablets.
You should also note that the app won’t work with either the Wyze Surge Protector or the Wyze Handheld Vacuum as neither are smart connected devices.
It’s also a smart move to keep up with app and firmware updates.
You can update the app via Google Play and the App Store. You can update a device’s firmware from within the app. Tap the Settings gearwheel, then go Device Info/Firmware Version/Update.
The app is relatively straightforward and intuitive. But if you do get stuck, check out the very informative Help Center on the Wyze website.
