Smartphones almost always come with a pre-installed app for making audio recordings. What they all have in common is that they are clunky and awkward to use.
If you need to record audio regularly, you would be well-advised to look at Voice Recorder. This mobile app was custom designed for record voice rather than a quickly integrated phone app afterthought to keep sides with the opposition.
For example, if you are conducting interviews, you need a high-quality recorder that’s simple to use and reliable. And one that possesses as few avenues as possible for inadvertently deleting a recording. Or worse still, not recording when you need to be.
Voice Recorder from a mobile app dev shop in Hanoi, Vietnam, fits the bill and gets a stonking 4.8 out of five on Google Play. And it’s free to boot.

Send and share recordings via email, SMS, Facebook, WhatsApp, Dropbox, etc.

Adjustable sample rate from 8 to 44 kHz
Logical recording listings

The young team of developers behind this app deserves applause. They have taken an app we all take for granted and made it so much better. And much more usable all around.
The developer’s website is very spartan. But don’t let that put you off. These guys are firmly focused on their Voice Recorder app, not web development. They also, according to their site, have a weather app as well.
While the name Voice Recorder name won’t set the forest alight with its originality, it’s an excellent app. Especially for journalists, anyone wishing to record phone calls, or students wanting to record lectures or make personal notes.
Voice Recorder is an excellent piece of kit to have on your phone and only requires a microscopic amount of your phone’s storage real estate. Coupled with the ability to save easily, catalog, and share recordings, and Voice Recorder makes a compelling argument for itself.
