We’ve had circles of trust. Now it’s time to put a ring of security on your phone or tablet.
Or, to be more precise, the app for Ring home security products. With this mobile app on your phone or tablet, you can monitor what’s happening at home wherever you are.
Ring connects to all your WiFi-enabled Ring products like video doorbells and security cameras. You can get instant alerts when your doorbell is pressed, or motion-sensing detectors get tripped. When you respond to an alert, you talk, hear, and see who is on your property from within the app.
As all Ring security cameras and video doorbells stream live HD video and two-way communications, you never need to be left in the dark about possible intruders. Everything that gets captured is sent straight to your phone for you to review.
And as Ring devices feature advanced motion detection sensors, you can be sure the most vulnerable areas of your property are covered by security.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re thousands of miles away from home or busy down in the basement; you can monitor what is going on directly from your phone.

The Ring app is free to download from Google Play and Apple’s App Store. You can also download it directly from the ring.com website, where there are download links for Windows and macOS.
The app no longer supports Windows 10 mobile devices. Windows desktops, laptops, and tablets will continue to work if they are using Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
You should also note that the Ring desktop app for Windows and Mac will no longer be updated for new devices and features.
This includes wired doorbell video, end-to-end encrypted video, linking to Amazon accounts, and Geofencing. However, the desktop apps will continue to be supported for critical security issues and bug updates.
When you download the Ring app, you may be asked to provide the login details you use for your device’s store page to download the Ring app.
