Samsung Health is a health app that first made its debut back in 2012 on the Galaxy S3. Since then, it has been regularly updated with new features and is one of Samsung’s pre-installed flagship apps.
It is available for smartwatches, smartphones and compatible with numerous third-party apps and a host of other devices, including scales and glucose monitors.

The app requires various permissions, including your access to your phone’s number for Samsung Health Together, your location for exercise and step tracking, and contacts to ensure you are signed in to your Samsung account.
The app will also require access to body sensors to measure stress, oxygen saturation, and heart rate. In some countries, the camera for QR code scanning, taking images of food, and recognizing blood pressure and glucose monitor readings.
It also needs permission to access storage and monitor steps and workouts.
