Apart from the Sony Walkman and Napster, few have done more to improve access to music than Spotify.
Today, Spotify stands as the go-to app for music on the go as you can listen to music and play millions of tracks and podcasts for free.
Often it can be easy to get stuck in a rut musically, listen to the same songs and artists. But with Spotify, you have an enormous library of audio to explore and discover new music from every part of the world.
Spotify launches in South Korea
Spotify announced that it was launching its service in South Korea, giving users there access to 60 million-plus tracks and over four billion playlists from all over the world.
The launch in South Korea brings the total number of Spotify markets to 93. The entrance into the country, regarded as the sixth biggest music market, was flagged up as a crucial next step in Spotify’s global expansion plans.
South Korea was a target for market expansion as it is one of the world’s most digitally inclusive marketplaces and home to the K-pop phenomenon.

You can try the Spotify Premium package free for a month. After that, it is charged at $9.99 per month for an individual subscription. The two-user two-account package costs $12.99 per month after the free trial.
The family package, which gets you six accounts, costs $14.99 per month after the initial offer. All accounts holders have to be living under one roof, though. For younger users, there is a kid’s version of the app.
The cheapest package is the $4.99 per month student deal and includes an ad-supported HULU package.
Spotify can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
System requirements for Android vary by device. Google Play users give Spotify a sturdy 4.5 out of five.
At the App Store, you will need iOS 12.0 or later or tvOS 2.2 or later, and 163.9 MB of storage space. Apple users are Spotify app fans giving it a mighty 4.8 out of five.
