The coffee giant’s mobile app is for people who don’t like standing in line or are time-poor. And with the current COVID-19 global pandemic, the app is more relevant than ever as it cuts down in-store time for customers.
There’s more to the app than merely convenience and safety, however. For as well as placing your order ahead of time, the app is integrated into the Starbucks Rewards scheme. So every time you order coffee, you are going to earn Stars into the bargain.
You can earn one star per dollar when you place an order in the app and pay with PayPal or a card, or when you scan the app and pay in-store.
Top-up and pay with the Starbucks card that’s included with your account, and you can earn two stars for every dollar spent.

There’s a store locator, so you can always find a Starbucks whenever you are on the go. They will supply you with directions and the opening hours, and other up-to-date info on the store, like what amenities it offers, before you make the trip.

However, you don’t necessarily need to collect. You can get a delivery via Starbucks Delivers on Uber Eats in the US and Canada.

After downloading the latest version, the next step is to create your Starbuck Rewards account to begin earning Stars with every purchase made using the app.
To get your coffee, open the app and enable location services. Then tap order, which appears as an icon at the foot of your screen. From there, you can place your order and add it to the shopping bag.
You will then be asked which store you wish to use, and the app then estimates the waiting time.
Then go to the designated pick up point and ask a barista for your order.
