If an app has one job to do, you can reasonably expect it to function well. If it’s an app written by a company exclusively for its customers to manage their accounts, it should be spot on.
TracFone My Account does a fair job of allowing customers to manage their accounts online. However, as with everything in life, there’s always room for improvement.
TracFone’s main bag is enabling customers to refill their accounts and remotely manage their TracFone wireless service 24/7.
All pretty predictable thus far. But the app also works to help you get the best signal and network quality. It does this by assessing the network’s performance based on your real-time location. Which is quite neat and creepy at the same time.

TracFone My Account is downloadable from Google Play and Apple’s App Store. Android users will need to sacrifice just 20 MB of storage space and have Android 5.0 or later.
The iOS app, which is suitable for the iPad and the iPhone, needs 116.8 MB of onboard storage space and iOS 12.0 or later.
However, App Store users, almost 33,000-strong, have given the app a 4.7 out of five rating. The vast bulk of those leaving feedback has awarded the app either five or four stars.
Android users, over 37,000 of them, have been slightly more skeptical overall, granting the app 3.7 out of five. However, most Google Play reviewers have given the app five stars, to be fair.
Once installed, open the app and agree to the End-User agreement. If you don’t already have a TracFone account, you can create one.
