The mobile app formerly known as Flipagram is now trading under the name Vigo Video. Or it was. It's a bit of a tangled story.
As is so often the case, this media editing tool has something of a colorful back story. For now, what's important to know is that Flipagram on Android is dead and gone. But there are still APK files for the app kicking around in various dusty corners of the internet.
Vigo Video, its apparent successor, was essentially a rebadged Flipagram as of April 2018. At heart, it was the same photo and video app of old. Though quite likely how Flipagram would have evolved in any case.
However, since a Chinese company took over the app, the app (whatever name you want to call it by) is no longer available on Google Play. Precisely what is the definitive state of play is difficult to fathom.
The Android app, Vigo Video, seems to have quietly faded away apart from a few lookalike knock-offs on Google Play.
However, it is not all soap-opera style doom and gloom; Flipagram lives on in iOS format as a slideshow maker by Flipagram Labs Inc.

If you've ever used a photo editor like the native one on your smartphone, for instance, you won't have any problems adjusting to the app. It looks new and shiny but comfortingly familiar at the same time. It's unlikely you will need to `learn' the app; it's all very intuitive.
