Despite now being a decade since its initial release, enthusiasm for Grand Theft Auto V shows no signs of abating any time soon.
Full marks for Rockstar Games for keeping this beloved game alive recently, but since it is the world’s largest grossing game ever, this is hardly surprising.
Kudos to them all the same. For despite its detractors, Grand Theft Auto 5 is undeniably a landmark in gaming history. It is the game by which all first-person games of its ilk are judged. And not without good reason.
From the plot lines to the graphics and gritty reality of its free-ranging gameplay and missions, there have been few games to match Grand Theft Auto V. Its enduring success is a testament to Rockstar Games having captured the zeitgeist of the time so perfectly. And transforming it into such a compelling and addictive game.
Unfortunately, you won’t find Grand Theft Auto V for Android or ioS at Google Play or Apple’s App Store.
Rockstar Games made the game for free download for one week, but that ship has long gone. The only way you can play Grand Theft Auto V on your mobile or tablet for free is by downloading a cracked version from some shady corner of the internet.
This is not to be recommended as A) it is a serious and illegal breach of copyright, and B) what you download could be packed with all manner of nasty stuff. It’s just not worth the risk of viruses, trojans, trackers, and malware, not to mention potential problems with the law.
Love is in the air
Romance was in the air in Los Santos. Along with the usual whiff of heavy air pollution, exhaust fumes, and cordite.
GTA Online marked Valentine’s Day with a bouquet of discounts and bonuses to help players feel the lurv. In Till Death Us Do Part, four couples went head to head. The catch? Each couple only had one life between them, so they had to work together as a unit. They could also get a health boost by sticking close to one another while trying to kill off the opposition. Who said romance was dead?
So what are the options? You can either:

For the Xbox, you are looking at between $29.99 to $59.99, depending on which edition you opt to purchase.
Prices for the PlayStation are widely similar. But in both instances, you are well-advised to shop around in case promotions are running.
It’s also advisable to shop around, too, for the Windows version as you can sometimes uncover discounts of a few dollars.
Some vendors, such as Steam, Amazon, and others, also bundle in Grand Theft Auto 5 online.
